President Julius Maada Bio has congratulated Andy Burnham on his commencement as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, expressing Sierra Leone’s commitment to strengthening the longstanding relationship between the two countries.

Andy Burnham, 56, is a senior Labour Party politician and former Mayor of Greater Manchester, a position he held from 2017 until assuming the premiership.
