President Bio Departs Freetown to Attend 2025 Sustainable Energy For All Global Forum in Barbados
Deborah Sorie President Julius Maada Bio has departed Freetown to attend the 2025 Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) Global Forum in Barbados, where he will join global leaders to discuss accelerating sustainable energy solutions.
During the high-level event, President Bio will deliver a national statement highlighting Sierra Leone’s Energy Transition and Green Growth Plan, which prioritizes a shift towards renewable energy, reducing reliance on biomass and oil.
His speech will emphasize the country’s commitment to hydropower and solar energy, aligning with the Feed Salone Strategy, the National Development Plan, and global climate goals.
The forum, hosted by the Government of Barbados, will bring together heads of state, policymakers, and industry leaders to drive collective action toward a just and inclusive energy transition. President Bio’s participation underscores Sierra Leone’s leadership in climate resilience and sustainable energy development.

As usual, Maada Bio enjoys stealing the country’s resources freely simply because the main opposition APC , is in bed with him and have compromised their position to be an effective opposition to check the excesses of this illegitimate President who has absolutely NO legitimacy to govern Sierra Leone. He is not only an electoral thief, but also heavily involved in the cocaine saga which has dragged the good name of Sierra Leone before 2018. The people of Sierra Leone will stand up against the international community especially the United States of America and ECOWAS who are dragging their feet to implement 84 recommendations of the tripartite where it’s evidently clear that this good for nothing man called Maada Bio stole the mandate of the people of Sierra Leone through barrel of the gun killing his own people. There will never be peace or elections in Sierra Leone if the June 24th 2023 Multi -Tier Elections are not addressed.
