President Julius Maada has taken to his social media platform to extend a message of Ramadan to the Sierra Leonean Muslims as they celebrate the end of the holy month.

In his post, he expressed his best wishes to the Muslim community, both at home and across the globe, as they prepare to celebrate the Festival of Fast-Breaking, also known as #EidUlFitr.

He acknowledged the efforts of the Muslim community in their worship and devotion to Allah (SWT) and affirmed that Sierra Leone will continue to be a beacon of hope and a model of religious harmony worldwide.

“We know that Allah (SWT) has received your Ibadah and will continue to preserve SierraLeone as a beacon of hope and a shining example of religious harmony across the world” he said

President Maada emphasized the importance of the Muslim community’s contribution to the nation’s economic and social growth, promoting peace, tolerance, and progress.

He congratulated the Sierra Leone Muslim Congress, other Muslim organizations, and the Muslim community as a whole for observing a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling month of Ramadan, as they welcome the glorious Eid-ul-Fitr.
