President Bio Promises to Stop Killing Sierra Leoneans
Salamatu Y. Kamara Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio who is also the flag bearer of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) has made a shocking statement by promising not to kill anybody anymore while addressing some supporters of the SLPP after his nomination from ECSL.
President Bio stated that they are not going to kill any Sierra Leonean anymore which has caused many reactions from citizens.
President Bio’s statement has created a huge debate on social media as some people are accusing him of being aware for the many killing across the country over the years.
According to some members of the main opposition party, any time the SLPP is in governance there are always issues of loss of lives of citizens.
Supporters of the APC repeated President Bio’s statement “We nor go kill again” to security personnel at the ECSL office during the nomination of their party flagbearer.

This statement is slanderous, its intent and purpose could not be measured by any yardstick. This is constitutional president and governs by constitutional instruments. However, lawless person’s who confront the forces ,could face the same language that they can understand. The president has killed no one without court orders. We are all residents in Sierra Leone.
I think most people were misunderstanding the statement of the president when said “we are not killing anybody again” What the President was actually trying to say was that the death penalty in the country has been lifted and no one will be killed for issues like treason acts l. But ay salone our shallow level of understanding issues and also politicizing everything is the country is really misleading. God have give us the spirit of understanding in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱
One thing I can say to sierra Leonean, we are very selfish to our selves, in a sense even when we see or hear the truth we style it in different ways. The statement of the president says they are not going to kill sierra Leonean anymore this statement has shown that the killing of the innocent souls in sierra Leone are in the hands of the president command, and u selfish and wicked so call sierra Leonean are there changing the statement u think people are stupid that cannot understand the statement. May God have mercy upon u all betrayal in sierra Leone

The President’s speech could be misconceptions by some annalists.
The day of judgement shall come. Evil people are always on the side of evil men. History cannot be rewritten just to please those have committed crimes against the people but they will be rewarded both in this world and the here after.
Saying that the president hasn’t killed anyone without court orders, what about the killings in Lunsar, Tombo, Makeni August 10 and that of evangelist Samson
Come on…. what else do you want to tell.us? Did the president think his statement would not be vetted by his subjects? He meant what he said and we now know that the innocent lives lost are in his hands. STOP DEFENDING HIM IN THIS.
What the president meant “We nor dae kill again” the death penalty being lifted meant that Sierra Leoneans will no longer faced death penalties irrespective of the crime.

President Bio is the best this country can ever proud of. His love and care for this nation is unimaginable. So stop snarring his good name.
I think the opposition misunderstood the president speech or they want to give bad character to the president that’s why they cut this part of the speech with out sending the full speech of his Excellency Rtd Dr Bio. Please Bio is the most peaceful president ever in the history of sierra leone.
