Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio has on Saturday, 28th January, 2023 once again met with Guinea’s Transition leader, Colonel Mamadie Doumbouya in Conakry, Guinea.

In an impressive show of the event, Mamadi Doumbouya gave a warm welcome to his counterpart from Sierra Leone at the Sekou Toure International Airport.

The meeting was a friendly visit to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

It could be recalled that, on Friday 28th September 2022, President Bio hosted the Guinean Leader, at the State House in Freetown, to also Strengthen the existing relationship between the two countries.

President Bio’s visit came against the backdrop of his departure from Senegal after the Dakar 2 summit, which focused on, “Food sovereignty and Resilience in Africa.”

During the meetings, President Bio convincingly spoke on his commitments to Sierra Leone’s agriculture during his second term in office, as he did for education in his first term.

President Bio also chaired Sierra Leone’s food and agriculture delivery compact presentation for a $10 billion grant from the African Development Bank Group.
