President Bio Sacks Newly Appointed Special Trade Envoy
His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio has sacked the newly appointed Special Envoy for Trade, Investment, and International Relations Sallay Fofonah Kamara.
This decision was made in a letter dated 4th April 2023 evoking the appointment of Madam Kamara.
Madam Sallay Fofonah Kamara was appointed by the president on the 30th of March 2023.
In his appointment letter, it was stated that Madam Sallay’s duties as the Special Envoy for Trade, Investment, and International Relations were to promote Sierra Leone’s business, product, and trade interest abroad, identify trade and investment opportunities in the emerging and growth markets for the attention of the appropriate authorities.
