Nigeria’s Afro fusion singer Burna Boy, real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu is anticipated to arrive in Sierra Leone in the next four months, where he will perform live at Freetown’s Siaka Stevens Stadium on 8th January 2022, according to Nathan Davies, CEO of 1Africa 1Vision.

The multi-award winning artiste’s Freetown performance which was slated for April last year was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

However, Nathan Davies has assured all that BURNA BOY will play in Freetown on the rescheduled date early next year as part of the “Year of the Return” concert, which is being organized by 1Africa 1Vision.

Burna Boy is well-known in the African music industry, having swept the continent and the globe with his previous two albums.

His albums ‘African Giant’ and ‘Twice As Tall’ remain the most streamed in Africa, earning him accolades, honours, and global recognition.

Following the Grammy Award-nominated ‘African Giant’ for Best Album in 2019, BURNA BOY’s album TWICE AS TALL won the “Best Global Music Album” Grammy in 2021. He also won the Best International Act BET Award three years in a row 2019 to 2021
