Leader of a new political party in Sierra Leone Mohamed Kamarainba recently leaked out copies of authentic government documents. In addition, he also shared typed sheets of paper he alleged to contain other information incriminating the government of corruption in procurement of 100 buses.

However, after series of dramatic developments, Kamarainba has now confessed that whilst the leaked letters were authentic, the other typed documents he had presented as authentic tabular information from Ministry of Transport & Aviation, actually contain lies.

Kamarainba made the confession on AYV Radio in a live phone interview with popular journalist DJ Base late in night of Wednesday 22nd July 2015.

Earlier that same Wednesday, Transport Minister Balogun ‘Logus’ Koroma had effectively shown to the House of Parliament that Kamarainba’s claims had no merit. Logus Koroma stated with clarity that Parliament should disregard as fakes, the pieces of paper on which Kamarainba had typed what were deceitfully presented as authentic transactions concerning the 100 buses imported.

It was over Logus’ assertions that Kamarainba was spreading fakery, that DJ Base acutely probed Kamarainba live on radio. In response, Kamarainba was to eventually confess to the listening public, that both his typed documents dumped on social media and even the set he submitted to the Anti Corruption Commission had discrepancies and mistakes by him. In other words, they had big, fat lies.

Many dismayed citizens who had initially believed his claims, tell this press that Government should consider pressing seditious charges against Kamarainba.
