The Main Purpose of The Census is Gerrymandering – C4C MP Blasts SLPP Government
Ishmaila Jalloh Coalition 4 Change member of Parliament has outlined the major reason behind the Midterm Census.
The opposition member of Parliament, from Kono District, Constituency 028 said that the government is hell-bent on carrying out the Census because they want to create more districts in SLPP strongholds, thereby Strengthening their political stance.
He lamented that the government in undertaking Census at a time very close local council and Parliamentary election, describing the Midterm Census as a political fraud as, according to him, there is no enough time to gather and analyze data.
