The Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah, has hosted Nigerian Nollywood actress and megastar Uche Jombo at the Ministry of Information and Civic Education in Freetown, where they discussed opportunities to strengthen Sierra Leone’s film industry.

Minister Bah, in a post on his official Facebook page, thanked Jombo for lending her star power to Sierra Leone’s film industry.

The Minister said he was privileged to host Jombo and described their discussions as energising, particularly around the possibilities to develop the film industry in Sierra Leone and across the wider region.

“Thanks to our sister and Nigerian megastar, Uche Jombo, for lending your star power to the film industry in SierraLeone,” Minister Bah stated.
