British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, Lisa Chesney has paid a courtesy visit to the new Minister of Finance, Sheku Ahmad Fantamadi Bangura

The Minister and the High Commissioner discuss issues surrounding aligning the programmes of the commission to the vision and Priorities of the government and on opportunities available through development partners to enhance development in the private sector

Commissioner Chesney also spoke on the need to deepen Public Financial Management(PFM) reforms as it is critical of all governance systems and the 2023 election.
