The National Commission for Democracy (NCD) which stands on the mandate to promote democracy and good governance in Sierra Leone has concluded its first post-election citizen’s platform in Freetown.

The engagement was based on having citizens on a platform to discuss the post-election political tolerance and peace at its head office in the nation’s capital Freetown.

In the discussion that flows, issues around peace and reintegration into various communities were looked at by different bodies that planned strategies to have a sustainable pace at all times in not only Freetown but the country at large.

The NCD has been playing host to many observation teams who came to observe the proceedings of the June 24th election in the country.
