The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Sierra Leone through their development fund has provided support to the pilot project on the effects of climate change in the country.

The Head of the UN Migration Agency (IOM) in Sierra Leone paid a courtesy visit to the executive chairman of the environmental protection agency through which the donation was made for the protection of the climate change project by the agency.

It is noted that the IOM is working harder to capacitate the country’s resilience against disasters and climate impacts in coastal communities as well as building a stronger and more sustainable future together with every other sector.

The Environmental Protection Agency received the donation in good faith and commit to work harder in using the materials for their intended purposes in making the environment safe and the climate change issues been prepared for.
