ECSL Engages Female Aspirant in Sierra Leone
Mohamed Aruna Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone has rolled out a structured engagement with female aspirants ahead of the June 24 elections.
The engagement brought together female aspirants from different political parties to discuss progressive move to ensure the election is peaceful and also brief them on the PR system.
The Director of Legal Affairs at the ECSL, Fatorma Fah-Bundeh delivered a well drafted presentation in the training workshop which was organised by NDI in collaboration with the Political Parties Registration Council Sierra Leone (PPRCSL).
In another engagement, there was a interactive session on the District Block system and the ECSL’s preparedness for the 2023 elections. The Paramount Chiefs promise to commit themselves to support the PR system sensitization and peaceful elections.
