ECSL Announces Stakeholders Engagements For Village Head Elections Candidates

The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has announced that it will hold stakeholder engagements for nominated candidates for the forthcoming Village Head Elections in the Western Rural District on Friday 13th October 2023.

This announcement was made via a press release issued on Wednesday 11^th October 2023.

According to the release, the campaign calendar and dates are to be decided on this date. The Commission therefore urged all candidates to attend and on time.

ESCL please pay us, uptill now majority of us that worked during the election 2023, have not received any message concerning the payment. We have verified but uptill now. We have been patient for the three months, uptill now we haven't receive any code which we can use to collect our salary in any Rokel Commercial Banks especially Locality 410 all of us have not received our messages. Please ECSL pay us. I suggest ECSL call all those who do not receive alert to come to the office and give us pin or code which we can easily use to collect our payment in any Rokel Commercial Banks

I have received my own message since from September, till now I have not yet redraw anything yet. Due to some Bank challenges, I went there the other time to redraw my money at Rokel Commercial Bank, the cashier told me that am not qualified to redraw that money from the account. All this while I was using my photo copy ID card to do their work, reason been that I was using my photo copy ID card is that I lost my original ID card when I fall into an accident so I lost the original ID card. So I went with my photo copy ID card at the RCBSL Bo branch the cashier said that he will not accept the photo copy ID card.

ECSL I received an alert, but when I went to the bank they checked my ID number it not the same, but all the other information are correct and they did not give me the money they advice me to go back to ECSL and went to the director of ECSL Bo. He sent all my information back to UNDP, but till now I have not receive any other information from them, so I pleading to ECSL to tell the bank as longer the phone number is correct let them give the individual the money.

In reference to June 24th Election 2023 Locality 410, uptill now all of us have not received any messages concerning our payment. We have been patient for the pass three months. I suggest ECSL to pay us ( those who have not received any messages) to come to their office or somewhere else and give us the code in hardcopy, which we can easily use to collect our payment in any Rokel Commercial Banks.

Uptill now ECSL hasn't send any Code to my phone. After all what I went through, they even didn't pay us what we worked for! This is wickedness, I will never iny life forget what ECSL. Even if it's a small money gives us.
