EDSA Announces Technical Glitch on Electricity Transmission Line to Freetown
The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority wishes to inform the general public that the network distribution infrastructure has experienced technical glitch along the transmission line spanning from Bumbuna to Freetown due to whether conditions on Saturday, 17th August,2024 between the hours of 9-9:30pm.
This technical glitch has led to power outages within the Freetown distribution network. However, efforts are being made to re-energize the transmission lines which will eventually led to restoration of power supply to residents of Freetown.
The Authority apologies for the inconvenience this situation may have caused and assures consumers of power availability as soon as possible.

EDSA is always having problems. Every month EDSA will complain about technical issues. Our NPA was even far better than this nonsense company called EDSA. Problems here and there all the time. I don’t know why the government is not doing anything about this rubbish company. They should just kick them out and bring in a more better company instead.
