Sierra Leone’s former President, Ernest Bai Koroma has landed in the Gambia ahead of Gambia’s national election.

Dr. Ernest Koroma is in the Gambia to lead ECOWAS Election Observation Mission in the country.

He is leading a team of 50 election experts and observers drawn from ECOWAS member States.

On his arrival, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma paid a visit to the Independent Electoral Commission in the country.

The Gambia’s election is scheduled for the 4th December 2021, and five candidates are contesting the Presidency including the incumbent, Adama Barrow.
