Former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma has mourned the death of former Minister of Energy, Henry Macauley after his passing over the weekend.
“I am shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Amb. Henry Macauley. He was such a diligent, humble and hardworking gentleman,” Koroma said.
Macauley served as Minister of Energy and Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Nigeria, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea.
Koroma said that as minister of energy, Macauley dedicated his experience, expertise and time to improving our nation’s energy sector.
The former President also said that the late man has “a very affable character” and will be “sorely missed”.
Death is inevitable, but when it is sudden, it becomes disheartening. All good loving people should share the grief of the former President for someone who served this nation.
