In all the centre visited, the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone staff were working hard to allow more people register to vote in the 2023 elections.

“The EU Delegation will continue to visit more centres as the registration exercise progresses,” a statement form EU reads.

The EU Elections are one of the organisations funding the 2023 elections. In so doing, they are observing the operations of the ECSL, to ensure that the election process is free, fair and transparent on election day and post-election, during the counting and tallying process, and will not be interfered with by the government.
