European Union Releases Statement on Reports of Violence in Freetown

August 10th 2022 demonstration has be one of the most dangerous demonstration in the country as violence is in the rise as hundreds of youths are in different streets in some part of the country.

Several unpleasant videos and photos have been seen on social media as some police officers and youths have lost their lives in the demonstration.

The European Union Delegation in Sierra Leone has tweeted encouraging all sierra Leoneans to refrain from violence and to stay calm.
