The First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Fatima Bio has left the shores of Rwanda last evening for France as part of His Excellency’s delegation to Europe.

In France, the President’s delegation will take part in the Transforming Education Pre-Summit to be held at the UNESCO Headquarters.

Sierra Leone co-chairs the High Level Steering Committee of UNESCO and also the Transforming Education Summit.

The delegation is scheduled to return to Sierra Leone this week after a successful three nation visits that have seen our First Lady being celebrated as one of the major assets of President Bio’s leadership.

World leaders including the President of the United Nations General Assembly, the Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Prince of Great Britain, the Emir of the State of Qatar, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, the Prime Minister of Samoa, the President of FIFA, the Duchess of Cornwall, the First Lady of Rwanda and other visiting First Ladies have all demonstrated how much respect they have for Dr. Fatima Bio by either publicly praising her work or sharing speaking platforms at high-level events or being specially invited to high-level tables in events with world leaders.
