Sierra Leone’s First Lady Fatima Bio, has on the 31st August 2023 attended the official commissioning of the ‘Be Free’ Youth Campus in Namibia.

She attended the ceremony as the Guest of Honour and emphasized that she is supporting her husband’s vision to promote Sierra Leone and ensure quality representation on the global stage.

Her statement reads; I arrived in Namibia today 31st August, 2023 from London to participate as the Special Guest of Honor for the official Commissioning of the BeFree Youth Campus, built by my Dear Sister #FLON First Lady Of Namibia for the young person’s of her country.

As First Lady’s our jobs are to complement our husband’s efforts in nation building and I am proud to say First Lady Monica Geingos is doing her own very well.

On my arrival, I had a short meeting with my brother and friend Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director of the World Health Organization. In our meeting he complimented the efforts of His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio and the Minister of Health for prioritizing health in this government. He also promised to visit Sierra Leone very soon.
