FCC Engages in Urban Farming in Five Communities (Video)
Salamatu Y. Kamara After years of Transforming Lives Through Urban Farming an initiative by the Freetown City Council, Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr has put together a short documentary of the project.
The Urban Farming Initiative is been delivered in five communities in Freetown which started in 2020 during the COVID-19 outbreak with two hundred women beneficiaries.
The project has attracted five hundred women with funding from UN-Habitat and implementation by FEDURP.
