News reaching this media is that a large fire has engulfed a building at wellington street in central Freetown.

The fire disaster is reported to be just yards away from the country’s National Revenue Authority Building , and also threatened to destroy nearby commercial and private dwellings.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
