The Government of Sierra Leone through the Youths Commissioner and partners have launched the UN funded ‘’Youths In Politics and Peace Building Project’’ ahead of the June 24 General Elections.
This development occurred on Wednesday, the 12th April, 2023.
The partners in the project include CARITAS, CRS and the United Nations being the financial source.
The UN Regional Coordinator, Ahonsi Babatunde emphasized the need for young people to be engaged in democratic processes and for them to be allowed to participate, safely and constructively in politics.
