The Government of Sierra Leone has officially launched the website for the ECOWAS Mid-Year Statutory Meetings 2026, providing a centralized online platform with essential information for delegates, development partners, members of the media and the general public ahead of the regional summit.

In a public notice issued by the Ministry of Information and Civic Education, the Government announced that the official summit website is now operational and will serve as the primary source of information on the forthcoming ECOWAS Mid-Year Statutory Meetings.

The platform contains key details on the summit programme, accreditation procedures, travel arrangements, accommodation and official updates relating to the event.

The website also highlights Sierra Leone’s role as host of this year’s statutory meetings through the country’s summit identity, “Where Freedom Lives,” reflecting the nation’s commitment to hospitality, peace and regional cooperation.

The Government noted that Sierra Leone is preparing to welcome leaders and delegates from across the West African sub-region as President Julius Maada Bio serves as Chair of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government.

According to the notice, the upcoming summit will focus on strengthening dialogue, advancing regional cooperation and promoting a shared vision for the future of the ECOWAS community.

The Government encouraged delegates, stakeholders and the public to use the official website as the authoritative source for information related to the 2026 ECOWAS Mid-Year Statutory Meetings as Sierra Leone prepares to host one of the region’s most significant diplomatic gatherings.
