Guma Valley Water Company Announces Emergency Water Shutdown in Freetown
Deborah Sorie Guma Valley Water Company has issued an emergency shutdown notice for water supply to Freetown.
The shutdown is necessary due to a fault on the 22-inch transmission pipeline at Hamilton Junction.
Maintenance work to repair the affected pipeline will commence at 2:30 PM today, December 24th, 2024, and is expected to be completed by 8:00 PM.
The company has sincerely apologized for any inconvenience this disruption may cause to its valued customers and the general public. They assure residents that every effort is being made to restore water supply within the stated timeframe.
