Abubakarr Boxx Konteh, widely recognized as DJ Boxx and serving as the APC Northwest Regional Organizing Secretary, has been extradited from Guinea to Sierra Leone.

The move comes following his arrest in Conakry, Guinea, where he had reportedly been hiding.

In a video online Guniean authorities are seen handing over DJ Boxx to sierra Leonean authorities in handcuffs.

The Ministry of Information and Civic Education issued a press release confirming Boxx’s apprehension, linking him to the attempted coup on November 26th and alleged involvement in illicit substance trading, notably the dangerous drug Kush, within Sierra Leone.

Boxx’s dual role as a prominent figure within the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party and his alleged activities have drawn significant attention. His extradition to Sierra Leone signals a turning point in the ongoing investigation into the November coup attempt and the illicit trade of narcotics.

Upon his return, Boxx is slated for interrogation by the Sierra Leonean Police, underscoring the seriousness with which authorities are approaching the matter.
