Hawa Hunt’s Daughter Tackles State House Director of Communication Myk Berewa on Bail Claim

Alicia Hunt, daughter of detained musician, social media influencer, and reality TV star Hawa Hunt, has publicly challenged a statement made by Myk Berewa, State House Director of Communication, regarding her mother’s bail status.

Berewa stated in a Facebook post that Hawa Hunt had been granted bail but was yet to meet the condition of providing a surety who owns a house in Freetown.

In response, Alicia Hunt asserted that her mother has been denied bail in all three of her court hearings. She acknowledged that her mother was granted bail at one point, but that offer is no longer valid, making Berewa’s statement inaccurate and untimely.

Alicia Hunt called on Berewa to correct his statement, which she described as misinformation. She emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity, especially for a government official.

Hawa Hunt is currently on trial for cybersecurity charges related to alleged false accusations and abusive language used against President Julius Maada Bio and First Lady Fatima Bio several years ago.
