Heavy Rains in Freetown Cause Two Deaths
Ibrahim Hashim Two people have reportedly lost their lives after a concrete fence fell on a zinc structure (pan body) at Hill Station, Freetown, as a result of heavy rains on the morning hours of Saturday 9 July, 2022.
It is also reported that the victims were sleeping while the fence collapsed on them.
Eye witnesses reported that two people have been confirmed dead and some other injured as a result of the disaster.
Video shared on social media shows the whole structure razed to the ground after the concrete fence of a building above fell on it.
