The Chief Immigration Officer (CIO) of the Sierra Leone Immigration Department, Andrew Jaiah Kaikai, has issued a new directive for obtaining residential permit.
This was communicated in a letter dated the 2nd march, 2023, addressed to the Sierra Leone Immigration Staff and the General Public.
According to the letter, effective today all applications for Residence Permits for Non-Nationals should be attached with copies of their Non-National ID cards.
The Department strictly warns that any of these applications that falls short of this requirement will NOT be approved.
