The Interim Transitional Governance Committee (ITGC) of the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) has on Wednesday 31 August 2022 revealed that they have amicably resolved their internal conflict.

This revelation is made in a press statement signed by the ITGC Chairman, Alfred Peter Conteh and Secretary, Hon. Abdul Kargbo.

“The Interim Transitional Governance Committee wishes to inform the membership of the All Peoples Congress Party and the general public that the standoff within the ITGC has been amicably resolved, today Wednesday 31st August 2022,” the statement reads.

They disclosed that the peace and reconciliation was struck through the mediation of the APC Peace Facilitators, Senior Party Stakeholders and the Big Six.

“In furtherance of the spirit of cohesiveness, the ITGC is working to review outstanding issues for the good of the party. The ITGC also wishes to provide assurances to the party membership that goodwill now exists within our ranks and that all outstanding processes and requirements that will take our party to conventions are now fully on course to deliver victory in June 2023,” the Committee assured.

The ITGC further urged their membership to go out and register from 3rd September 2022 to 4th October 2022, so that they can be able to vote in the 2023 elections.
