The Secretary General of the Interim Transition and Government Committee (ITGC), Hon. Abdul Kargbo has handed over his responsibility to the new Executives of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party.
“I’ve successfully handed over to the newly Elected National Secretary General of the All Peoples Congress. The 9 months of ITGC was mixed with the good, the bad and the ugly,” Kargbo said on Friday evening.
The handing over was done at the party’s headquarters in Brookfields, Freetown.
The new chairman, Minkailu Mansaray, and Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya and other senior members were in attendance.
This recent development, however, does not go in tandem with the Chairman of the ITGC’s notion.
According to Alfred Peter Conteh, the administration of the party should be ran by the ITGC. Conteh, in an open letter, criticised the just concluded Delegates’ Conference saying it flouted the April and November rulings of Justice Adrian Fisher. (sapns2.com)
The party primaries ended on Monday where Dr Samura Kamara was elected as party flagbearer for the June 2023 elections and other members were also elected at the party’s higher echelons.
