Vice President of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh paid a spot check visit to the Pademba Road Correctional Center after the unfortunate failed attempted coup on 26th November 2023.

The Vice President said as a democratic state, the unfortunate incident on November 26th is worrisome and touching the stability of the state.

He disclosed that President Bio has received solidarity calls from different heads of state through this challenging time in the country especially when the government is making its efforts to build, work, and move the country together.

He continued that the government is struggling to support reforms, and economic development and they are doing their level best to stabilize the prices of commodities, create job opportunities, and achieve the big five change of President Bio agenda, adding that seeing such unfortunate incidents happening is worrisome.

He confirmed that the situation is under control, adding that arrests have been effected in suspected areas.
