Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) National Chairman, Sir Jimmy Batilo Songa, on Wednesday, 27th May 2026, paid an emotional visit to the grave of his late father, Alhaji Mohamed K. Songa, at the Christ The King Clogged (CKC) Cemetery in Bo City following the completion of the Three Days Ceremony held in his father’s honor.
The visit marked a solemn moment for the SLPP Chairman, who reflected deeply on the life and legacy of his late father, a man he described as having played a profound role in shaping his character and values.
At the gravesite, Sir Jimmy Batilo Songa offered prayers for the repose of his father’s soul while seeking strength and comfort during the difficult period of mourning. Family members and close associates who accompanied him observed a quiet moment of reflection as prayers were offered at the cemetery.
