The Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has reaffirmed the government’s developmental commitment to the people of Kono district.

He maintained that President Bio made a promise to the people of Kono, that he shall certainly deliver on the key presidential priority projects which include; the Koidu-Mafindor road, Kono University of Science and Technology, Safe Water Project and 24-hour Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea electricity interconnection, adding that, they are vital for the President’s human capital development vision to help stimulate economic development in the district.

“I made a special trip to assess the progress of the Koidu-Mafindor road which will lead to the Guinea border, Kono University of Science and Technology which will become the second university in the Eastern Region, and finally the Maternal Center of Excellence which is being built next door to the Koidu Government Hospital” he said.

He furthered that, these are ground-breaking ventures that will not only serve the people of Kono but also the entire nation to ensure a total and constructive development.
