It is alleged that Sia was brutally assaulted by her boyfriend, Tamba Sandi, on Thursday, October 17, 2024, leading to her death on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Sia Kaffa’s body is currently at the Connaught Mortuary in Freetown, awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine the official cause of death. Meanwhile, the accused, Tamba Sandi, is in police custody at the Kono Police Station, assisting with ongoing investigations.
The grieving family is appealing to human rights organizations, the police, and First Lady Fatima Bio to intervene and ensure a swift investigation. The community is urging authorities to ensure justice is served without delay in the case, which has sparked widespread outrage.
