Leading Presidential aspirants of the main opposition party, All People’s Congress (APC), Samura Kamara, and other party members have commissioned a newly constructed footbridge at the Dwarzack Community in Freetown.

During the opening ceremony of the footbridge, Samura Kamara sent messages of hope and dreams to citizens and spoke of national cohesion and the APC’s vision of unifying the nation for national development.

He said that the bridge is a symbol of hope, faith, and progress in the community, adding that it is not only a form of infrastructure to benefit the community but also a connection between the APC party and the local people. He added that it will promote greater dialogue, understanding, and respect between them.

The former presidential candidate stated that development is not possible without national cohesion, noting that it’s only through unity a development plan will be successful.

He emphasized the importance of national cohesion and development and convinces the people that it was only the APC that could bring such development to their community.
