2023 Election: Kandeh Yumkella Dumps CoPPP, Set to Join SLPP
The leader of the National Grand Collation (NGC), Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella (KKY) is reportedly preparing to join the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) ahead of the 24th June 2023 general elections.
KKY’s official declaration to join the SLPP will, according to the report take place at any time after the closure of parliament, early next year as he currently leads his current political party in the House.
However, other NGC big guns like Dr. Dennis Bright and NGC Members of Parliament, report states will stay put the steer of the party.
According to what the Exclusive has gathered, all necessary arrangements have been made by the SLPP administration for the highly anticipated comeback of KKY.
It is still not yet clear as to whether or not KKY would be chosen as the next running mate to president Bio or will settle down for a Parliamentary position under the SLPP ticket in the forthcoming election.
This is no longer a news to we, we know that he’s the SLPP part two. I’m quite sure it’s a good news for the opposition. It’s high time we the voters to know the differences between true politicians and traitors.
