Sierra Leonean entertainment artist Kao Denero has expressed his thoughts on the challenges of being at the center of attention in the country’s music industry.

In a post on social media Kao Denero shared his belief that the focus on him may be part of a bigger plan.

“There must be a good reason why everyone is focused on me,” Denero wrote. “That must be part of God’s plan, maybe to strengthen me for the bigger picture.”

Although Denero is not the only artist from Sierra Leone, he pointed out that the spotlight he’s under is not always easy to handle. “I might be the real example to prove that people frown on great potential where I’m from,” he added.

In his post, Denero also points out the competitive nature of the music industry. “This game is definitely not for the weak,” he said. “Only the strong survive out here.”

Kao Denero’s comments come amid a series of controversies in the music industry that constantly place him in the spotlight.
