Yusuf Keketoma Sandi Blasts Vickie Remoe For Telling Lies About President Bio
Binta Koroma Sierra Leone’s Presidential Press Secretary, Yusuf Keketoma Sandi has blasted Vickie Remoe for reporting a fake story about the President of Sierra Leone, Dr Julius Maada Bio.
She reported that President Bio had gone to Doha, Qatar for a working visit when infact was in Freetown at that time.
Vickie Remoe and others that posted that story were however deceived by the November 27, 2022 date on the Qatari based Gulf Times website that had posted that particular story.
Gulf Times is one of the best in Qatar and that story was done in June 18, 2022 when President Bio had gone there. But because the actual date the story was done was at the right end of the story, Vickie Remoe and others went by the date that was seen as soon as they opened the Gulf Times website.
Because of this, Yusuf Keketoma Sandi felt annoyed and posted that Vickie Remoe’s post is not only FALSE but that it is also intended to SMEAR President Bio with deliberate misinformation.
He confirmed that the president is in Sierra Leone and stated that people use social media platforms to spread lies, cynicism and disinformation for ulterior motive.
