Former President Koroma to Participate in The Africa Drive For Democracy Conference
Mohamed Aruna Ernest Bai Koroma, the former President of the Republic of Sierra Leone is to participate in the Africa Drive for Democracy conference, an elder’s retreat together with other former Presidents in Africa.
The conference will host the Former President of Mozambique-H.E Joaquim Chissano, the Former Prime Minister of Ethiopia, H.E Hailemeriam Dasalegn, and the Former President of the United Republic of Tanzania- H.E Jakaya Mriosho Kikwete among others and is to last for two days starting on the 17th July-18th July 2023.
The live event was organized by the Center for Strategic Litigation which works to deploy an innovative approach to litigation and advocacy that seeks to promote the rule of law and constitutionalism in the East African region.
According to them, they kick off the drive for democracy conference week with the prestigious Elders’ Retreat, which will be officiated by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan.
