Lawyer Abdul Karim Koroma (AKK) Passes Away
Aaron Parker Renowned Sierra Leonean lawyer Abdul Karim Koroma, affectionately known as AKK, a prominent figure in both legal and advocacy circles within Sierra Leone, as well as the chairman of Kambio Eagles, is reported to have passed away today August 29, 2023.
Akk was not only a Barrister at Law and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone but also a staunch defender of human rights, a dedicated youth activist, and a perceptive social commentator. Holding the position of Senior Partner at Jabbi Associates Law Firm and serving as the Legal Adviser of the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society
In addition, AKK served as the Board Secretary of the National Revenue Authority and held a distinguished position as a Senior Member of the Sierra Leone Bar Association. The eloquent legal icon passed away in England, where he had been taken for medical treatment
