The Director of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation of Sierra Leone and the Team Lead has met with the Lagos Traffic Management Authority [LASTMA] to understudy the effective Traffic Management in Lagos.

He said, “We came here to understudy operational guidelines including legal frameworks of LASTMA in line with traffic management control to improve/upgrade our Transport system.”

Shiaka appreciated the government of Nigeria for establishing mobile courts which ensure fair rehearings justice for motorists.

General Manager, Bolaji Oreagba affirmed that its ethics and operations are regulated by the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law of 2018 as reviewed.

Oreagba acknowledges that the state is adopting technology to address challenges with Automatic Number Plates Recognitions [ANPR] Cameras and giving traffic officers and-held Management solutions [TMS] devices.

He added that the government of Nigeria established the Mobile Courts which ensures fair hearing and justice to Motorists.

Director Shiaka promised to strengthen the relationship between LASTMA and his Ministry.
