The Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs is set to give updates on ongoing civil service reforms with the aim of achieving the Big Five Agenda of His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio.
The updates will take place on Tuesday, with key ministry personnel addressing the nation.
Minister of Public Administration and Political Affairs, Amara Kallon, will lead the briefing, accompanied by Ansu Tucker, Director General of the Human Resource Management Office, and Mrs. Deema Kpalayieh, Deputy Director of Recruitment and Selection at the HRMO.
Bockarie Abdel Aziz Bawoh, Deputy Minister of Information and Civic Education, will preside over the session. The reform process, which is regarded as critical for national development, aims to redesign the civil service architecture in order to provide a more productive, reliable, and effective workforce that is aligned with the government’s development priorities.
As part of the program, the government intends to modernize public service recruitment and management of human resources systems.
