Moyamba District Civil Society Call on Statistics Sierra Leone to Pay The Mid Term Census Workers
The Moyamba Civil Society has shown concern over the delay of payment of the Mid Census Staff. The Civil Servants are calling on Statistics to fast track the payment of the workers as it is almost four months now since they completed the work.
They said, the majority of these staff (Supervisors and Enumerators) referred to this treatment as an unfair and administrative blunder on the side of the entire management of the census exercise.
“These Sierra Leoneans have served the institution to the best of their ability and they deserve their payment”
They are therefore calling on the Management of Statistics to fast track the payment of these staffs.
