Hon. Aminata Sesay, Member of Parliament for Port Loko District, has been involved in a head-on road accident while travelling to Freetown for an official meeting.

The accident happened this afternoon while she was on her way to the capital. According to information from the MP, the vehicle was badly damaged during the crash.

Hon. Sesay confirmed that no life was lost in the incident. However, she sustained a minor injury and is currently receiving medical treatment.

The MP expressed hope that she will recover soon and be able to attend tomorrow’s parliamentary sitting on the constitutional review.
