LUC Musa Allieu Invited by IPCB on Allegations of Police Brutality, Assault And Six Others Offences
Upon complaints received by the Independent Police Complaint Board, alleging a breach under regulation 3 (1) of the Independent Police Complaints Board Regulations, as provided for under Regulation 6 (1) & (2) of the said Regulations, Musa Allieu (CSP) has been invited for questioning.
He is required to attend the office of the IPCB on the 5th January 2022 at 10:00 hrs for an interview in connection with the following allegations:
i. Death in Police Custody of a 17-month old baby, while locked up with her mother in a Police cell at the Panlap Police Division in Makeni City on Thursday 23rd December 202; and
ii. Police Brutality, Assault, Wounding, Looting, Unlawful Arrest and Detention, Forced Exiled, and Professional Misconduct on 14th October 2021 reported by one Mr. Foday Bah Mansaray of Mawulay Village, Gbendembu Chiefdom, Bombali District against you and other Police officers attached to the Panlap Police Station, Makeni City of which you are the Local Unit Commander in that Region.
