National Traffic Coordinator Engages Duty Traffic Officers in Freetown
Salamatu Y. Kamara The Newly appointed National Traffic Co-ordinator ( NTC) in the person of Deputy Assistant Superintendent of Police DSP Alimamy Koroma, has continued to stir the mantle of Leadership in that Directorate in the SLP.
In his address to the Commanders, he thanked them all for holding up to fort of dedicated Service delivery in the Traffic division, especially in Freetown.
He also intimated to Commanders that he and his team, are putting modalities in place to get reasonable manpower; so that they can start running both A and B Shifts.
The National Traffic Co-ordinator also called on the attention of DTOs that the Secretariat has opened a disciplinary book for Defaulters, if a personnel’s name appears twice; he or she can be removed from the Traffic division.
The NTC also updated DTOs about the meeting attended by the Secretariat at the Bank Complex Kingtom, on 7th, September 2022. He said the meeting was called by the National Council for Civic Education Dialogue and Development (NaCCED).
In a Nutshell, the meeting was to have a dialogue session between the Executive of Bike Riders, and the Sierra Leone Police in respect of the Central Business District ( CBD) Resolutions were jointly agreed upon which Must be fully observed.
