Njala University is holding its 2026 Congregation Ceremonies for the conferment of degrees and the awarding of diplomas and certificates, with undergraduate, diploma, and certificate graduands participating in ceremonies on Friday, November 6, 2026.
The ceremonies are taking place at the Forecourt of the Campus Administrative Building at the Njala Campus. Postgraduate graduands will have their own ceremony on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the same venue.
The event marks a significant milestone for the graduating class, recognising years of academic effort at one of Sierra Leone’s principal public universities.
Njala University, established as an autonomous institution in 2005, operates its main campus in Njala, Moyamba District, alongside a campus in Bo.
The ongoing ceremonies bring together university leadership, faculty members, proud parents, and community leaders from across Sierra Leone to honour the academic achievements of the graduating class as they prepare to join the national workforce and contribute to the country’s socio-economic development.
